I'd like to give you a word of advice. When you arrive in Nezebgrad find Semer Nemar, the Rune Trader, in Yasker's Tower. What are runes? Just listen up.
You can often find runes embedded in different equipment. Runes are magical stones that are ingrained with the power of one of the Great Martyrs. The tradition of embedding runes comes from long ago, when craftsmen knew nothing about the Martyrs and just sensed that the stones have a great magical power.
Now that we know how to use the power, it can be a great advantage on the battlefield. It would be a good idea for you to learn how to use runes. Semer Nemar can help you with that.
