June Fighting Magic

The "Revelation of Tka-Rik" states that the June Great Mages opened gates into another dimension in search of magical energy. Unfortunately for them, behind the gates lurked horrible demons who invaded our world. They obliterated the June before their mages could seal the gates.

Their battles against the demons yielded valuable experience, which may very well prove useful in our own struggle. In the Totnum Forest you'll find some ancient June ruins.

"Totnum" means "massive walls" in June and we suspect the ruins used to be part of a fortress. Not too long ago, the aviaks discovered a strange statue in those ruins, one that could possibly hold military value! Go and study it, but remember that the ruins are home to mantises that aren't very keen on strangers...

The June actually called the demons "curses". You can see this word all over their ruins. Speaking of which, how are the ruins in the south? Did you study them?

Aha! It's just as I thought - this stele is directly correlated to the June military. The artifact you've found is very similar to those that the June used to activate their golems. This means that we better give it a test run!

I don't have to tell you how useful golems would be in our fight against the demons! So many of those beasts have flooded onto the allod it's beginning to look like a third invasion!

As you may know, the seal on the gates was disturbed during the Great Cataclysm, and the Great Astral Campaign was started by Skrakan and Nezeb in an attempt to seal the gates once more. We thought they were sealed for give, but I guess we were wrong!

Anyway, this is no time for history lectures! I must figure out a way to properly test this new artifact you've brought me. Hm... I think I may have an idea.
