The Historians' Problems

The Wormfaces are a very ancient race. They are not as ancient as we, the Elves, but their history dates back to the ages of the Junes! Can you imagine that? They could have told us a lot about Sarnaut's past. However, there is one problem... It is not even a problem, it is a dead-end! The Wormfaces refuse to talk to us!

They've locked themselves under the ground and won't come out. Yes, I understand that they cannot stand bright light and open space, but since we are allies they could have invited me to come in! But they didn't! I have to stand in front of their door and talk to them using an Talk-back Device. But my partner in conversation... I am the Ambassador Plenipotentiary of the Historians whose studies may change the future of the world! But my partner in conversation is... a servant! A plebeian! Oh, great powers of Sarnaut! Sometimes I don't want to act like a scientist, but to act as a stupid militant and to explode the dungeon with all of its arrogant inhabitants.

They could have shared precious June knowledge, their magic and technology... But they are too stubborn to talk!
