Summoner

I talked to a few of the grunts here, got some of their stories... There's something suspicious going on around the Watchtower... There have been a lot of these resurrected draconids around. Not the usual draconids, but undead ones. What do you think this means? Well, I'll tell you. That's clearly the work of a summoner! And couldn't a summoner also have something to do with the plague? Think about it. What would I do, if I were a summoner? I'd take all of you that died from the plague and I'd turn you into obedient zombies. In many cases, the difference would not have been apparent immediately. I suppose small brains are small brains, zombie or no.

The hypothesis needs testing. Let's pretend you're my assistant. Let me give you an assignment. Remember what I say now.

Somewhere not too far from the tower there should be sick draconids. They are weak and dying. You'll be able to approach them without fear. I'm going to give you a vacuum-powered spark sucker. I think you'll be able to use it. Get me 10 infected sparks. I worry that the plague shadow won't want to give up its prey so easily... But that's your problem!

And while you're at it, find and kill the summoner as well. He shouldn't be far from the infected. Are you a hero or not? The last thing we need around here are undead with wings! There's more than enough to worry about as it is.

What do I think? It looks like the plague shadow is a parasite that latches onto the soul. It's goal is not to kill, but rather to infect the spark, to poison it and turn it into something resembling itself. The infection works like a chain reaction and soon the whole allod would have turned into a cloud... If not for my keen, perceptive mind, everything would have come to an end!
