Formally, we have done our job. We found out where Tep had derived his power. The Object gave it to him, as it bestowed insanity on Negus Jeeg. It bestowed a perverted immortality on all the staff of the complex.
The only question that is left unanswered is - how? How does the Object do that? Who created it? How did it end up here? Don't you want to find the answer?
Watch out on our way down. It is possible that we are not coming back...

This Source is an incredible thing...

So, the expedition is coming to an end? Well, it was a fascinating adventure. At the bottom of the abyss, we found a way to... another world? To something infinitely distant from Sarnaut, which suddenly became very close? Just reach out your hand, make a step... And you are there. Dankin believed that the Source could become our path to a better life in a better place.
I must admit, I admire that man. Really. He had a divine power in his hands, and he chose to use to create a bright future for the whole world. And Negus Jeeg... was a pathetic minion. A madman who craved power and infamously wasted his brilliant wit. I despise him and feel ashamed that he once belonged to my people.
Still, Dankin almost destroyed this world when he let the Architects in. And Negus Jeeg was probably the one who saved Sarnaut from them. On Tep's order. I wonder if Tep ever knew of the Architects, but I doubt we will ever find this out.
