So that's how it is. Act with our own forces and without support. And with the Empire throwing monkey wrenches our way. We don't have a clue whether Tep was involved in what happened, but there's no way we wouldn't know if it was the Committee! Damned traitors! We'd strangle all of them with our bare paws!
With all the running around trying to establish communication, we totally forgot about what one of the sailors told you. Do you remember? If his memory is true, then he saw a live Imperial in our area. And our sentries reported some creature hiding in bushes near the camp, which fled as soon as they cocked their crossbows. What wild animal would know a crossbow?! It must have been an Imperial spy, and he is hiding somewhere near.
We ask you to find him and kill him! Traitors must remain ignorant!
