Use the Signal Flare, activate the Demonic Artifact, and channel the artifact's power for 5 minutes until the demonic portal is sealed. Search the defeated Demons' bodies for anything useful and return to Rogneda Boykova.

Introduction

The Imperial commander, Adam Verkhovin, and I have worked out a plan. The enemy's main military forces are concentrated in the portal dimension of this demon network. Our only chance to prevent a global catastrophe is to seal them there!

Two of the network's portals are located inside our camps and the third is by the Gates. Your mission is to set this magic artifact by the third portal. The artifact is tuned to the magic of our paladins and the Imperial mages and it works in unison with their spells.

When the artifact is in place, fire a signal flare and we will commence the operation at once! But remember, the artifact must remain intact for at least five minutes - otherwise we won't be able to complete the operation. Protect it at all costs!

Process

Aidenus won't be happy with me taking matters into my own hands. He'll probably send me off to Siveria, where I'll spend the rest of my days shuffling through snow...

Completion

Excellent! The end justifies the means and success is never punished! If we didn't stop the demons, they would have destroyed us and then moved on through to the League portal network and pillaged our cities. The only thing that prevented this catastrophe was our alliance with the Empire. I will draft up a report for Aidenus, he must understand that we simply had no alternative.
