Ha, I knew the June city ruins are a real treasure with all their secrets! Apparently, over the years, the Historians would have taken everything. But wait, after spending several minutes among the columns I found several stashes!
Here's a brief translation of the June's journal.
"I'm so happy! I'm thanking gods! I've found my family that I thought I'd lost forever!
I thought they were dead, my dear wife and children. But I found them among the smoldering ruins of June Itsmal! We all gathered here under the leadership of the brave Tka-a-Lithan Ric-ti-a-Nic to decide what to do next.
We have a near-even split. Some say we should run, others insist we should stay and talk to the Dark. We have several days before the curse comes back. For now, it's aiming at the other cities. Smoke is rising above our cities along the coast...
We must hurry and make up our minds. The skies, waters, and woods will witness our decision. Oh gods help us select the right path."
Curious... This looks like the last tablet from the ruins. Goblins must have taken the rest. I wonder where the next part of the story is. How can I know what the Junes decided it their only witnesses were "the skies, waters, and woods"?
Any other witnesses would have fled somewhere southeast, away from the darkness.
