Astral Ichor

Collect 15 Astral Ichor samples from the Twilight Gargoyles for Romain de Ardeur.

We must tell the de Desiraes everything we know in a way that prevents Vivien from being suspected of involvement. This isn't going to be easy!

Let's start with the substance you found. I've studied it and it's certainly interesting. I have decided to call it Astral Ichor. It's clearly of Astral origin and can accumulate magical energy. But the magic is blacker than the darkness itself. It's the magic of death!

I can probably fool Marguerite by putting forward a believable theory about a certain artifact that caused necroplasma to appear. But I will need samples to support my theory and the more I have the better.

Go to the mutant gargoyles to the southeast and get me another fifteen Astral ichor samples. I'll draft a report about the artifact and use the samples as evidence to support my conclusions.

Vivien made a terrible mistake but her remorse is genuine. I do not want the mark of dishonor to stain her good name and our House.
