The Path to Power

Our commander has been sent away to rehabilitate his broken leg. The poor guy! But then again, we're the ones who had to stay behind... We've received orders to seize control over the Site of Power in Tekyan Thicket before the Empire gets their troops to it.

The problem is that the jungle is damn near impenetrable, and without magic we're pretty much doomed to fail! That's why I decided to take matters into my own hands! I am a druid and I saw an opportunity to apply some of my knowledge.

I'm going to summon a mite that will eat all nearby plants, blazing a trail to the Site of Power. However, I need a guard to escort it and protect it from predators and enemy soldiers. It also needs to be fed dried branches along the way - it loves dried branches and it'll hold its attention. Now go escort the mite!

I knew the mite wouldn't let us down! Now the road to the Site of Power is clear! I don't do what I do for the sake of glory, but I will certainly petition for some kind of medal for this. Maybe they'll even invent a new medal in honor of our heroic feats! Medal of the Beetle... I like that name!
