The Search for More Evidence

We must continue with the excavation.

One piece of evidence is not enough to make a solid hypothesis. I must study other artifacts from these ruins. There's another well full of bones to the southeast. Unfortunately, it's half-filled with water and also home to savage water elementals. Actually, it's teeming with them!

Nevertheless, we must study the contents. Take out any of the creatures that you have to, just bring me back more bones. We need to try and find at least one other strange bone like this. In the meantime, I'll be checking ancient manuscripts for relevant information. Truth be told, I'm already nurturing a theory... But first things first! I must have more evidence!

Believe it or not, this is a dragon bone! I'm certain of it now! This discovery confirms that the fabled June war with the dragons was real. At the same time, it raises even more questions. To battle a dragon is one thing, to keep them chained is quite another. We must reflect on this...
