Tep, the leader of the Zem nation's psionicists, and Ur, the leader of the Zem nation's mechanics, joined forces and deposed Hickut's last Despot who bore the name Peraach. Peraach and his associates – Bathory and the other priests – were defeated in the end, the ruler was killed, and his body was buried someplace. The survivors eventually became those we call the Heretics now... Curious, isn't it?
