Tep values his mechanical toys much more than all of his fanatics who worship him. Look at those flying saucers. All lubricated, each blade sharpened, each screw polished - a feast for the eyes! Not like those goners in baggy rags. To him, they're nothing but cheap labor and - at a later time - food. I can't say I feel sorry for them - who's to blame for their joining the cult by free choice? But my hands are itching to spoil their master's pleasure. Why don't we break Tep's favorite toys? This way we'll also suspend the diggings - two birds with one stone! If there are any secrets left in the tower, they're not for Tep to know.

An interesting question: do the cultists happen to grease Tep's mechanisms with their own fat instead of engine oil? That's unlikely, but it wouldn't surprise me. They're so damn skinny.
