We need to investigate origins of ghosts. In particular, sparks of the fallen.

I have always been a follower of Zosim's theory: "Spark, the base component that gives life to us and is an essence of Tensess' Gift, is not connected to the, so-called, ghosts, who are really magical creatures not under the church's control."

With that said, the circle of investigation is easier to understand now. I hope we will find truth soon. Here is a June gadget. It catches and analyzes magical emanations. Use it on ghost wolfs, boars, and toads. We won't bother the villagers though. And we also don't know how the dragons will treat our experiment, so let's keep this between us. I anxiously await your return!
