Over time, Veligrad grew large and prosperous, while its residents looked warily at the sorceress's tower near the city. They knew dark secrets were kept there.
Sorcerers and sorceresses, Galenel's apprentices, visited the city and spread rumors. They said Urd himself was buried somewhere near the tower, and that there were catacombs under the city - with graves where Skrakan and Galenel hid their secrets.
