Currently the Orcs depend upon Xadaganian Great Mages to protect their allods from the Astral. The shamans are hoping that an Orcish Great Mage will rise up, allowing the race to strengthen their power within the Empire and grant them more freedom.

There are stories of a Legendary Orc that used to have the power of a Great Mage, and the shamans are searching hard for his descendants. However, their diminishing power within their own race could put an end to their efforts...

So, one descendant of the Legendary Orc is missing while the other two are dead. And along with them the shamans' last hopes of power and independence. There's a moral to this story!
