Hydra's Teeth

Throw a poisoned bait to the nightmarish hydra, wait until the poison works, kill the hydra, take its tooth and hide, and bring them to Whew Black-Feather in the Glittering Wing village.

You are just wonderful! You collected poison berries, sea stone's cover and meat. No question was asked. I had a hidden agenda when asked for those items. I'll make a potion from herbs that eliminate pain and give it to Karrok. And others go toward a poisonous bait. It will be a very tasty bait! I'd eat it myself if not for poison. A hydra is stupid, knows nothing about the poison. What hydra, you ask? A hydra that you are going to kill.
Hydras live on a small island near our village. Hydras are strong, but stupid. Throw the bait at it and a hydra will swallow it, and then get very ill from poison. Kill that hydra, collect its teeth and hide, and bring them to me. I'll make a powerful amulet out of them!

Hydra is strong, Son of the Wind is quick, but old Whew is crafty! Craftiness and agility always trump dumb strength.
