The Origins of the Undead

Find 3 Zem Tablets in the crypts for Christine de Desire.

The House de Desire has long been famous for its knowledge of necromancy. It was this art in particular that won the last Great Ball and brought our house into power. Necromancy has become very fashionable since then and Elves from other Houses have also begun studying it. Some have even made great progress, such as my teacher Alfred de Delice.

But we've since had a falling out. Our views as to the origins of the local undead differed. Alfred believes that they are nothing but remnants of some ancient necromancer's experiments. But that's not so!

I am positive that we are dealing with intelligent undead, undead from the tribe of Zem! You can see their tombs from here or if you look at those ancient giants! Could your regular, dumb undead have ever created things like that?!

Help me prove to him that I'm right. Go to the crypts of the undead on the bank of the Vertush and find clay tablets of the Zem tribe. These tablets are a sure sign that we are dealing with the Arisen.
