It ssseems that draconids only want one thing from usss lizardmen and that's our eggsss. We don't know why, and they don't ssseem likely to tell us - they're not exactly the sssharing kind.
Please go to the Cursed Lands - that'sss where they're taking our eggsss. Try to find out what they're doing with them! No matter how terrible the truth may be, we mussst know!

This explains it! The draconids are bewitching the stolen eggs with their spells. As a result, draconids emerge from the eggs instead of lizardmen!
