Core principle

The website allodswiki.ru (hereinafter “AllodsWiki”) is a private, non-commercial fan website. It carries no third-party advertising and is designed to collect only the data needed for accounts, site security and aggregate technical statistics. It does not build a persistent behavioural profile of visitors.

1. About the site and contact

AllodsWiki is not a legal entity, online store or advertising platform. The site has no paid services, sales, subscriptions or third-party advertising.

The only public contact for the site administration is admin@allodswiki.ru. It can be used for questions about accounts, published content, security and data processing. Publishing the private administrator’s personal details on the website is not used as a contact method.

2. Data minimisation

  • The site does not require a real name, home address, phone number, date of birth or payment details.
  • Normal page viewing does not create an account-linked history of pages viewed, searches or actions.
  • Users’ personal data is not sold or provided to advertising networks.

3. Registration and accounts

Registration requires a username and an email address. The database creates an internal user ID and data required to verify the password; the password must not be stored in plaintext.

When a user signs in, AllodsWiki processes technical data required to keep the sign-in active, including the session creation date, the latest User-Agent and the date of the latest activity. No intermediate history of user actions is stored for this purpose.

To keep a user signed in, AllodsWiki uses a necessary first-party cookie. Without “Remember me”, the sign-in is kept only for the current browser session. If “Remember me” is selected, the sign-in may persist between visits.

4. Comments and user contributions

A comment stores its text and a relation to the author’s internal user ID. Email, IP address, User-Agent and other technical data are not copied into the comment record.

If the site allows a user to submit an article, correction or other editorial contribution, it may be linked to the account’s internal ID for attribution and moderation.

AllodsWiki does not need real names, addresses, phone numbers, identity documents, payment details or other private information from users. The site rules prohibit publishing your own or another person’s personal data in comments, articles, account names or other public fields. Such information may be removed by the administration.

5. Cookies and tracking

AllodsWiki does not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics systems or scripts for tracking visitors across websites. The authentication cookie is first-party and is used only to keep the user signed in to AllodsWiki.

Standard technical information sent when a browser connects to the server is processed temporarily for site protection and troubleshooting. It is not used to create a persistent visitor profile or to attach browsing history to an account. Retention periods are listed below.

6. Aggregate site statistics

AllodsWiki uses its own statistics module for general site statistics. It is used to understand overall traffic and aggregate information about the site and its audience, such as browser, language and other technical distributions.

The statistics are intended to analyse the site as a whole, not to observe the actions of an individual visitor.

7. Infrastructure and access

The main application and database are hosted on a privately administered server in the Russian Federation. The server is not managed by a conventional hosting provider and no third party is given administrative access to it; administrative access is limited to the site administrator.

Separate gateway servers from infrastructure providers may be used for availability. They act as transport proxies, forwarding the encrypted TLS stream and not decrypting HTTP content. They do not contain the account database, comments database or other application database of AllodsWiki.

8. Retention

  • Account data is kept while the account exists and the data is needed for its operation.
  • Without “Remember me”, browser sign-in is kept only until the current browser session ends. With “Remember me”, it may persist between visits until the user signs out or the authorization expires.
  • Comments and other published contributions are retained while they remain part of the site or its content history; removal is governed by the rules and moderation.
  • Main server logs are kept for 7 days.
  • Bot-protection technical records are kept for 30 days.
  • Aggregate statistics do not contain a separate visitor record that can be retained as that visitor’s history.

If a user emails admin@allodswiki.ru, the sender address, message and attachments are processed only as needed to handle the correspondence and resolve the request.

9. Purposes

  • creating an account, signing in and maintaining an authenticated session;
  • providing comments and other functions explicitly requested by the user;
  • protecting the site against attacks, bots, spam and technical abuse;
  • diagnosing errors and maintaining availability;
  • producing aggregate, non-profiled statistics about the site and its audience.

10. User requests and policy changes

A user may contact admin@allodswiki.ru to request information about their account data, correction or deletion where provided by applicable law. To protect an account, the administration may ask for reasonable confirmation that the request comes from its owner.

If the site architecture changes — for example, if third-party advertising, external analytics, new storage methods or direct third-party embeds are introduced — this Policy must be updated before those features are enabled. The current revision date is shown at the top of the page.
