Nastenka

One day a young pioneer girl named Nastenka, while walking outside the pioneer camp, came across a giant pumpkin growing in an abandoned greenhouse. This wonderful pumpkin glowed golden and enticed her with its sweet aroma. Nastenka, forgetting all the warnings, began to devour its juicy pulp, not realizing that with each bite something terrible was happening to her. The next morning, the pioneers were horrified when they saw Nastenka - her head was now an ugly pumpkin with a smiling mouth and evil eyes. From then on, the girl with the pumpkin head became a scary story that was told to everyone who came to the pioneer camp.
