The tablet translation goes:
"The young man and the girl called the ruler for action. How could anyone put up with the fire dragon's attacks?
But the wise ruler Witzliwitle laughed and said,
'You may be brave, but you're stupid. A man is weak. A man can never fight a mighty fire dragon!'
But the young man and the girl called to avenge the destroyed cities and the dead people.
Witzliwitle said,
'Prove your bravery! Go to the mountain where the leader of all tigers lives! Each of these leaders is named after Shere Khin. Fight him. Defeat him. Bring me his skin. Prove your courage! When you do, your names shall remain in history forever.'"
