Go down the mine, find Hoof and his accomplices, deal with the traitor and return to Ivan Chelezny.

Hoof and his accomplices practice a strange religion. They believe that there is a Prophet, and that the Architects speak through his lips. Supposedly, the Prophet calls to bow before the Architects, for only they can establish the order in our world and achieve the eternal peace and prosperity. Of course, people are tired of war, and they can be easily tricked by such promises. Some of my fellow soldiers fell for it, too...
Hoof and Swish went down the shaft not so long ago. They must be still there.

So they blew up the lower levels of the mine? This actually makes sense. There is no other way to cross the mountains, and the northern part of the allod is occupied by the Architects...
Alright, we will get them, but for now we need to stop the spread of that heresy. The people are scared to death already, and we don't need that Prophet thing get into their heads. Well, I will deal with that myself.
