Interrupted Evacuation

Is this for real? The League and the Empire fighting hand in hand! Looks like the messengers could make it after all.
So you say these stone monsters are called the Architects? They came out of nowhere in the middle of the night and completely destroyed our defenses. They even somehow wrecked our Portal and turned our Great Mage to dust when he tried to take us away from here. I sent two guys with Adventurer's Stones to deliver the messages and gave the order to fight to the bitter end. We won't give up just like that!
Alright, let's break through to the gates before it's too late!

Who are you? Name yourself!

You clashed with them on the bridge, right? Damn it. We thought we could stanch our wounds and break out of the fortress on our own. I can see that was hardly gonna work out.
Have you seen Lock? A huge fella, with a cracked tooth and shoulder straps. Loud-mouthed like a ship siren!
He died?.. Oh dear... May the Light rest his soul!
