The Ancient Spider

The darkness that came from the castle has covered all of this allod. I am old, very old... I saw the world shatter when I was a mere sprout, I saw... Hm, I don't remember now. My memory is not what it once was.

But what I can say for sure is that everything passes. This too shall pass. The darkness will retreat and then return again as it has for centuries. There are more important things to worry about. For example, Shelba, the giant spider...

She and I have been enemies for a long time now. If you help me deal with her, I might be inclined to give you advice about the creatures of the darkness.

The forest is full of rustling, there is no light, and strange creatures move in the darkness. The world is changing again and if there's one thing I hate, it's change...

Hah! Looks like old Shelba got what was coming to her! Fear not, I remember my promise and I'll keep my word.
