Oho! Hello! Where are you from? Then again, what's the difference?! We're all in the same deep doodoo here.
Whatcha staring at me for? Yes, I am a pirate. So what? Never seen one before? Pah! People usually see us either on the ship's deck or hanging from its mast. But now we're stuck here like landlubbers, dammit!
See, we wanted to pluck a few fat merchants. We hid behind a wormhole and waited for the tubby to appear. And then, all of a sudden two fleets emerged from the astral depths, an Imperial one and a League one. Nothing's in it, either way, it's not worth powder and shot... So we fled into the wormhole and that's that.
When I came to life, only wreck and corpses were around me. No water, nothing to eat, only warped masts from the ship. Kaput, so to speak. We somehow gathered and made a bonfire. Some of the boys went to find some grub and got lost.
Listen, you are going into the jungle anyway. If you see my guys, tell them that I'll shove a mast down their throat if they don't get back to the camp this instant!

This blasted jungle's giving me the willies... Without a deck below my feet, life sure ain't easy...
