Card Spread

The road called me for a reason. I was worried after all those mysterious travelers appeared, predicting terrible things and confusing people...
And people kept asking questions. Wealthy merchants, young warriors, lovely maidens - all the Novograd citizens. Even Aidenus himself asked for a prediction. But cards were silent that time.
I gave it a thought - and decided that I needed a new card deck. They say there’s a rare deck created by an ancient master, the Wise Khima himself. And apparently you can buy it here, in Eljune. I packed my things and traveled there. Bought the deck.
But the reading was unfortunate. It warned me about loss. My cards were stolen. I don’t know who did it, there are plenty of thieves around here, each more suspicious than the last.
Be a dear, bring me my deck.

Oh, my poor deck. Damn those bandits. What was grandma’s curse?

Oh, precious. My vision is blurry and vague, cards are saying strange things. It only happened once to me, a few years ago when the mysterious Director was sending letters to everyone. It was a difficult time.
You chased him away, didn’t you?
I don’t know how to help you... But maybe...
