Inner Journey

I do know how. All signs, both mental and external, were present. I should know better...
What to do? Well, for starters, you can surrender to goblins on the Coba Plateau and wait for the local innkeeper to hire a minor local hero to rescue you. Then you must persuade a naive time-traveler to give you the heart of the Dragon, deeply roasted in the desert sands. Or, as an option, you may find an ancient half-witted mage and absorb the power of his Spark...
Or we can go the long way, get into your mind and cut the darkness out directly. You will do it yourself. I'm not messing with your thoughts.
Well? What would you choose?

We shall start as soon as you're ready, dear. Don't let it take too long. It's just like toothache.

Well, you did it. You did something.
Oh, I can see a lot of questions in your eyes. Have I come through this? Have I seen this? Do I know the "sacred" truth about Nihaz?
But of course.
