The Astral Extract

I think you already know about the twelve different runes, right? Maybe you've already had a chance to extract them from items and insert them into other things? If so, that means you've used a rune removal pick before. Well, you'll be happy to know I can get you an improved one!

But first you'll need to help me a little bit. You see, the ZIT has been conducting a series of very important experiments. Unfortunately, they require a rare reagent called Astral extract. It's very difficult to obtain, and for that reason the leaders of the ZIT are willing to give an improved rune removal pick to anyone who helps.

The only place the extract has been found is on the corpses of Astral demons. If you take this ancient June rod and use it along the Astral coast, you'll be sure to lure a demon to you. After all, everyone knows how much the demons hate the June.

The only catch is that the June rod can only be used once every thirty minutes. It needs time to recharge between every use. Once you do manage to get five handfuls of the extract, return to me and you'll get your reward.

Excellent! On behalf of the ZIT, I now give you this hard- earned reward.
