The Phantom Menace

It is now time to address the heart of the matter. The keys you found at Avilon allowed the demons and their minions to us our teleportation network. We used the key of Armando de Doucer to pinpoint the location he had been visiting most often. It appears that it's some remote allod named Yazes Shard.

It used to be a large Imperial allod, but it was captured by the demons during the Great Astral Campaign and over the years most of it was destroyed by the Astral. However, it's still a sizeable piece of land and it's now the home of one of our greatest enemies - Gorluxor.

We believe that most of the cultists and demons are concentrated on this allod. At their head is Gorluxor who's using them in his plots for world domination. We're sure the demons are using him for their own purposes as well, but at the moment we're uncertain of their motives.

I've already sent some troops to the allods to complete a secret operation codenamed "The Phantom Menace". You are now a member of this team and are to report to Yazes Shard immediately.

This scroll of teleportation will take you directly to our main base. Once you're there, speak to General Adam Verkhovin. He'll give you further instructions.

Right now there are more demons and cultists than we could have imagined. On our very first day here half of the troops were lost. Since then we've been on the defensive.

To the west of here are a group of League soldiers. The League somehow found out about our operation here and sent their best forces to battle these agents of darkness. But Yasker hopes that we will be the ones to destroy the demons. It would be a grand victory for the Empire!

Unfortunately, there's a long way to go before we're victorious. This certainly won't be easy.
