Hostile Intentions

I have interesting news for you. As I've recently learned here in the Cradle, there is an ongoing resistance against not only the Master's faithful and their enemies, but against the League and the Empire as well. More specifically, against each side's endeavors to be the first to reach the Dead City. And it manifests in images of Elizaveta Rysina, the leader of the Committee, and Marianne de Ardeur, the head of the Church of Light, showing up occasionally in an area the northwest of here. And the opposition to these endeavors takes the form of a magical duel between these two prominent ladies... Indeed, this acrimony runs deep and isn't easy to solve overnight. But it's a good thing! The Master does not need weaklings. Only the stronger will merit learning the secrets of the Dead City! And this battle of intentions, the duel of wills and desires, makes it possible to avoid a bloody war that would take away thousands of lives, while revealing those the one who is most worthy.

If you want to help your country and your people, then head to the area northwest of the portal at the time specified in your calendar, and wait. When the duel of intentions incarnate commences, you are free to join in and assist the heroine of your people. But bear in mind that your opponents will most certainly try to do the same thing, so I would advise that you gather up loyal friends before rushing into battle!
