Arachnophobia

I recently read a very interesting book called "The Way of the Warrior". It's by the Elven scholar Claude de Vevre. For several years he lived alone on an allod amongst a tribe of wild minotaurs, studying their customs and beliefs. These minotaurs believe that their life is a path that they must travel. One of the first obstacles in their way is overcoming their fears.

Me... well I have a terrible fear I don't think I'll ever be able to overcome. I'm afraid of spiders! I can hardly stand when I see one!

Not too far away on Adder Plateau there are a whole bunch of spiders. Among them is a huge one that the woodsmen have nicknamed Mizgir. I'd like to try and kill some of the smaller spiders myself to overcome my fears, but I can't go near the Plateau with Mizgir there!

Please cleanse the world of that monster for me!

I know my limits. Defeating a simple spider is the way to start overcoming my fears! Mizgir's way beyond me.

I bow before you! To defeat Mizgir... how amazing! Well, now I have no more excuses. I should go there and confront some of the smaller spiders face to face. Alright. Here I go. Right... now! Or maybe later. Are you sure Mizgir's really dead?
