The thing is, we are protecting the ghosts that we released, but they get attacked often - by distorted creatures and other ghosts. And now a new misfortune - we are plagued by Spark Eaters, Tep's creations.
They consume Spark energy! The residents are now in dire straits. They have barely enough energy to continue existing. There is only one salvation from these creatures - the Soul Lanterns which weaken these parasites, so killing them becomes a piece of cake.
You need to refill the lanterns and disperse the Spark Eaters.
