Spring Amnesty

Military service is voluntary, of course, but not after you've sworn to serve and protect. An oath you give is your pledge to join the ranks. I wish some people could really understand this. But no, first they sign up to serve, and then they listen to the rumors about the Holy Land and flee, chase the wind! Then they have to go into hiding, mix up with the criminals, that's how it all goes downhill. Today, to celebrate the spring, Aidenus decided to give deserters a second chance. Here's the pardon decree. It says, if a deserter returns to his regiment, he's granted the amnesty. Find five deserters and read the decree to them. Perhaps it will make them come back.

What kind of a celebration it is, when there are people ruining their own lives?

Five deserters listened to the decree. That's good. There's hope they will return to the army to defend their motherland, like their grandfathers did!
