Impossible Peace

Honestly, when I saw that the League sent its high prioress as the head of a battle mission, I couldn't believe my eyes. I didn't know what to think - did Aidenus lose his mind, or didn't the League realize the importance of these events?
But we just saw her in battle, and she could teach our soldiers a thing or two. I must admit, the Council's account on her is obviously scarce. But we will find out who is responsible for that later.
I suppose, you realize that the League and the Empire must act together. I entrust you, an honored member of our society, with the peacemaking mission. Go to Marianne and tell her we are ready to consider the armistice conditions.

"Ready to consider", are you? Well, it is the most sincere peaceful settlement that I've heard in many years. I am happy to be present here on this day!
What? No, that wasn't irony. It is an honor indeed!
We are ready to discuss the armistice. I hope it's not too late, and we still can repel the enemy.
