Wit Works Woe

Go down to the Tower Ruins cellar and explore the anomaly.

I looked through the cultists' notes as long as I could make out the handwriting. It wasn't in vain that we drove them away. Judging by the notes, the owner of this tower experimented with magical energies and found a source of unparalleled power. One of the experiments was especially lucky - it razed the tower to the ground. And because that was long ago, even before the Divine Gift, no one ever heard of the mage since.
Of course, Tep won't learn from others' mistakes as he craves the same source of energy. His minions are rummaging through the ruins trying to grasp what his experiments were all about. They've found no notes, artifacts, or operational machines for now. The tower cellar, however, hides an energy anomaly that somehow influences the flow of time. What it is remains unclear, as it aggressively resists any attempts to research it. The text is illegible and the edges of the notepad are burnt. Interesting, isn't it? It is to me, for instance. Still, it's you who will go there.
